14 Feb 09  Daddy's hands were the first human skin I felt, and then he gave me to my mummy.  Daddy also cut my cord, but it didn't hurt.  I had blood all over me, and laid on mummy's chest and made her feel yucky, but she didn't care.  I also got to meet my granny and grandad, they seemed pretty strange, but gave me nice hugs and kisses.

• Daddy sings to me lots and stops me crying, but I don't really cry, I just make funny noises that sound cute and make mummy and daddy laugh.
  

18 Feb 09  I was allowed to come home.  I tried to stay in hospital by almost being underweight cos I didn't like the sunlight and I didn't want to go out in the sun.  But then I got home where I felt comfortable and there was this pink room waiting for me, with a huge bed for me to lie in, and pretty pink pictures on the walls.  After lots of sleep and some food, I got to meet my nanny on the computer screen.  I also keep receiving text messages from my grandad.  Daddy says he sounds like a hobbit.  They live far away, but I'm looking forward to having some cuddles with them.

• I seem to be eating more these days, and I haven't got the hang of sleeping properly yet.  Sometimes I might sleep for 6 hours, but then I might get extra hungry and only sleep for 2.  It seems to make me poo lots though.  Sometimes when mummy and daddy change my nappy, I pee on the mat or all over them, and need my clothes changed... hee hee hee.  I did a poo all over mummy once, mummy laughed, so then I had to do it on daddy.
  

28 Feb 09  Today I became 2 weeks old and was taken around the shops in my new pram.  Then later I went in the car with mummy for a long drive to see daddy cos I missed him.  When I got there, there were lots of other people who all wanted to hold and cuddle me.  Mummy said they were daddy's brother and sister, and some of my cousins.  I don't know what that means though.

• I've received lots of nice clothes from mummy and daddy's friends and family, but they're all a lil big at the moment.  I have to grow up!  I've also received toys, but not sure what to do with them yet.  Mummy says I have enough clothes to last until I'm 2, so I have to keep getting them dirty.  I'm trying!  I make funny faces when I poo poo.
  

• Mummy and daddy like watching me, and I like watching them.  I sometimes like watching the cricket as well, but not rugby.  I love my mummy and daddy and they love me.
  

10 Mar 09  I had my first piano lesson today.  Mummy held me by the keyboard and helped me play the notes C and D.  My fingers were too small though so had to use my whole hand to play the note.

14 Mar 09  I became one month old today! I've been getting very hot though as it's been very hot outside.  I haven't felt very well either and got a nasty rash on me.  Mummy says it's a heat rash, and she has been keeping me in front of the air con as I have been having trouble sleeping.  I'm growing lots though.  I'm now 55 cm long and weigh 3.6 kg.  Mummy has been taking me out to places more now.  I sit in some carry thing that she puts on her and I sleep. 

• I stay awake longer now which means I get to play with mummy and daddy.  They have been teaching me to try and crawl, but I'm not very good at the hand and feet skill.  I am getting better though.  Mummy reads to me a lot, but it makes me fall asleep again.
  

21 Mar 09  I went to see my granny and grandad today.  It was nice and cool at their house.  I also went to meet my future neighbours who will help me grow up as we went to visit our new home to be.

22 Mar 09  I saw my Aunty Larelle and Uncle Glen today and my cousins Flynn and Fraser.  I like them lots.  Flynn gives me lots of kisses and cuddles.  Then I saw my nanny and grandad in England on some webcam thing.  Well that's what mummy says it it.  I just see a big TV screen.  I hope to actually give them lots of cuddles soon.

1 Apr 09  Had a 6 week check with Mr Paediatrician.  He seemed quite nice at first, but not sure mummy liked him very much.  He tried to tell her what to do, but I love my mummy for what she's doing at the moment.  I won't be going back to see him though.

• I'm smiling more now at mummy and daddy, and then I get tired and fall asleep, or get hungry still.  I've been very hungry lately, but that's because I'm growing lots.  I'm getting very tall now.  I can fit into more of my clothes, but I'm still getting too hot, and prefer being in my nappy.
  

• I am big enough to go in something that rocks me, it's nice, it helps me sleep.  Then I get to play on this soft thing on the floor that has lots of things that I can grab and rattle.
  

• I've been listening to lots of sounds too, which mummy says is called music, especially some classical stuff.  Mummy says it's good for me to listen too, but it just sounds nice to me, but makes me sleepy.
  

10 Apr 09  I got to speak to my nanny in England again today, I like her lots.  I got to see my Uncle Shayne too, he's nice.  I can't wait to have cuddles with them. 

11 Apr 09  I have been sleeping through the night now, but that's because I have mummy and daddy spoiling me.  I get to sleep with them as it's very comfy and I like being close to them.  I'm not pooing much during the day, I just go once a day, but it's usually lots.  This morning was  lots and I don't think mummy thought it was funny, but I did... hee hee.  It meant I got to go with daddy in something that spurted out water to clean me.  Apparently it's called a shower.  I liked it, it made me smile lots, especially when daddy put it over my head.

• I'm playing more now and want to stay awake more.  I like going on my play gym and watching things move.
  

• I like watching these things that move around in, which mummy says are fish and they go in a tank.  They're funny and make me smile.
  

• Mummy and daddy are playing with me lots and mummy keeps singing funny new songs to me that make me smile.  I like to smile now.
  

• I have to go in bigger nappies now as well as I poo a lot.  I don't go that much, but when I do, I make sure it's lots and lots at once... hee hee.  Mummy usually puts in the bath straight after or I get to have a shower with daddy, that's the best part hee hee.
  

1 May 09  Today I went over something called the Harbour Bridge for my first time.  Mummy and Daddy were with me and took me out for the day.  Daddy carried me most of the day and said we walked around Darling Harbour.  I met lots of new people.  I went to see my great great Uncle too.  I was very tired that day meeting all of them.

2 May 09  I became 12 weeks old today.  Mummy and daddy took me to visit our land where our new house is going to go and I will grow up.  There was too much to look at.  I met some big things though that mummy said were horses. 

3 May 09  Granny and Grandad looked after me today and took me out to places.  I met even more people, but I don't mind as I get lots of attention and cuddles.  I was very tired though and slept all the way home.  It was nice to get home and see mummy and daddy.  I smiled lots as I was happy to see them.

14 May 09  I got sick today, mummy took me to the doctors as I didn't feel very well.  I had really bad tummy pains and kept being sick.  I didn't like it and wasn't very happy.  The nice lady doctor gave made me drink something and it helped me feel better, especially after I slept lots.

16 May 09  It was one of my Grandad's 60th birthday party today.  There were lots of new faces for me to look at, and I got lots and lots of cuddles.  I got lots of attention, it was a very long day though as I was so excited I didn't want to sleep.  I just wanted to see what was going on.  Daddy sang to me though and made me fall asleep.  I like Daddy singing to me.

17 May 09  Mummy and Daddy took me to our new home, where I sat on our Bali Hut relaxing on a chair, whilst Daddy did some work there.  I saw lots of the horses again.  I liked relaxing there, it made me sleepy though.

• I love smiling and laughing now.  I can almost say love you to mummy and daddy, but it sounds more like 'Ehh gu'.  Mummy and daddy seem to like it though as they smile back.
  

• I love giving cuddles too, and look over a shoulder, but my head loses control sometimes and I do head butts... wonder if I'd be good at football.
  

21 May 09  Mummy seemed to have hurt herself today and daddy was doing lots of things with me.  I still gots lots of cuddles with her though.

22 May 09  Mummy still not well.  Granny Stella came over to look after me, that was fun.  Mummy doesn't seem to lift me very much though, but still gives me cuddles and feeds me.

23 May 09  Granny Stella looked after me most of the day as daddy was away and mummy still wasn't well.  Mummy said to me she has a bad back and can't lift me, whatever that means.  As long as I get food and cuddles I'm happy.

24 May 09  We went to somewhere new today.  Daddy looked after me.  We went to a funny place, lots of bright lights and people.  Mummy said it was a hospital because she's not well.  I was getting cuddles from lots of people.  Mummy looked in pain and I couldn't get many cuddles, but I smiled lots at her to make her laugh.  Daddy looked after me though and said I was going on a holiday as mummy had to stay in hospital.

Daddy took me to see Granny and Grandad and then he left.  I'm not really sure what is going on, but I like Granny and Grandad.

25 May 09-29 May 09  I got to see Aunty Larelle and Uncle Glen, I spend most of the days with them and my cousin's Flynn and Fraser.  We've been doing lots of things.  Fraser is funny, and Aunty Larelle likes to get this thing that clicks at me, apparently it's called a camera.  Then I go and see Granny and Grandad at night.  I wonder where mummy and daddy are...  I miss them.

29 May 09  Mummy and daddy came to get me today.  I was smiling as soon as I saw them.  I'm very happy they are here.  I got to go back home as well, so it was the end of my holiday.  I can't stop smiling and talking.

4 Jun 09  I was sneezing and coughing lots today, apparently it's called a cold.  I wasn't very hungry, but I wanted to sleep lots.

11 Jun 09  I had something new today, mummy says it was food.  She gave me this funny stick thing that had some sticky stuff on when I put it in my mouth.  It made my face very sticky, but it was quite yummy.

17 Jun 09  I had a painful experience today.  Mummy said I had to have jabs whatever they are, all I know was I had to take some yukky fluid and have two bandaid's on my legs.  It hurt a little bit, but I was very brave.

31 Jul 09  I had a very painful experience.  I discovered some sharp things in my gum.  They hurt, and I had to bite on anything to take the pain anyway.  Mummy gave me some medicine and it helped, she said they are called teeth?

I have a new thing now, I like to giggle!!!  Mummy reads to me quite a bit in funny voices, and I find it very funny.

I like to try and talk lots too. If I'm not being loud enough I make sure I make more noise to be heard.  I especially like to have a chat and tell mummy about my dad before I go to sleep.

I like bashing keys now.  I go on mummy's laptop and play and I like having my daily lessons on the piano too.  I get to make as much noise as I want bashing keys.

2 Aug 09  It was daddy's birthday today.  I went to watch him sing.  I stayed awake most of the day and was very tired by the end.  I got him some nice pressies though, and got lots of cuddles from lots of people!

11 Aug 09  Daddy got a call in the early hours of the morning.  He said it was the Police and that our car had been stolen.  He then found out we had been broken into as well.  Our car had been set on fire.  I went with mummy and daddy to have a look at it.

10 Oct 09  It was mummy's birthday.  I spoilt her lots, along with daddy, and then my adopted nanny looked after me in the evening while they went out.

I like exploring now and I'm getting good at crawling everywhere.  I still like my giggles... hee hee and bashing on the piano!  I can play more notes now. I've had some more teeth come through as well, I'm not sure I like them coming through, they hurt and it upsets me.

I've discovered I can say some words now as well, I like saying da da a lot, and blowing raspberries, and still making lots of loud noises to get attention.

9 Dec 09  I met my Uncle Shayne and Aunty Vanessa today.  They live in England and came to visit.  They're nice, I like them.  Aunty Vanessa is funny.

We went exploring to lots of places with them.  It's was lots of fun and I got very spoilt and lots of cuddles.  I like cuddles!!  They made me giggle too.

I love it when daddy puts me on his shoulders and runs.  Mummy usually goes in front and does silly faces and makes me laugh a lot.

17 Dec 09  Uncle Shayne and Aunty Vanessa left to go back to England today.  I miss them and I was very sad, mummy misses them too.  I hope to see them again soon.  Mummy said we'll go and visit them.

25 Dec 09  Apparently it was something called Christmas Day.  Not really sure what it meant.  I got to open lots of things in some paper.  That was fun, I liked chewing the paper.  I have some new things now that I hadn't seen before.  Some play lots of music and make noise. It was fun, I got to see my Granny and Grandad, and my Aunty Siane and cousin Ronin.  I like Christmas, and could get used to that!

1 Jan 10  Mummy said it was New Years Day... again, I'm not sure what she meant, but it seemed important.  It meant seeing my Aunty Larelle and Uncle Glen and my cousins Flynn and Fraser... I had lots of play time and even more cuddles.

I seem to be having even more teeth coming through and they're keeping me awake.  It's also been hot lately and I don't like sleeping when it's too hot.  I like the mornings though when I can jump on daddy.

Mummy has been playing a game called piggy with me, where I get to ride on her back, it's fun and then she taught me to tap her back to massage it, as she has a bad back.  I like doing that, I even do it to daddy too... I like bashing things.  I've been moved to having baths in the big bath now.  That's lots of fun.  I get to splish and splash and kick my legs away, and makes lots of mess.

I like to say different words all the time, mummy says I babble a lot, so I pull her hair, that's funny.  I really like to talk when I wake up in the morning.  I have so much to tell mummy and daddy, and then I give them big cuddles.

My next aim is to start walking soon.  I like standing a lot and moving around the furniture.  Mummy takes me on walks around the house, but I have to hold on to her.  I like dancing and watching Little Einsteins as well, that's my favourite show.  I like the music.
